Enjoy my quote for the week and happy knitting everyone!
I LOVE baby knitting! They are so small and cute, and super quick to knit. Following on from my ‘Jory’ pattern, I am now working on ‘Jude’ which is a matching diagonal rib cardigan with the option of a round or V neck.
I have knitted these baby items in Mon Amour yarn. This no pilling, incredibly soft yarn has a beautiful drape and is 100% microfiber, which offers some advantages over animal fiber yarns. It is perfect for those with sensitive skin, including babies and children, and for those who don’t enjoy the scratchy feeling that some pure wool yarns have. This yarn allows the skin to breathe, and is easy to wash either by hand or in the machine. It comes in 16 colours and you can see them all here: http://www.knittingpatternsonline.com.au/MonAmour.html
“Jory” is the latest addition to my pattern range, and includes a beanie and matching pants, both worked in diagonal rib. The beanie features a standard rib brim and the pants have a rib waistband. The pattern includes sizes 0, 3, 6 and 12 months and this gorgeous set will suit either a baby girl or boy. The pattern can be purchased from my website at the following page: http://www.knittingpatternsonline.com.au/Jory.html
