Happy new year to you all! Although I have been very quiet on social media lately, there has been a lot going on behind the scenes and I have some exciting new things happening for 2020. In the next week or two I will be unveiling a new website, introducing some stunning new yarns, adding knitting kits to my product range, and offering my patterns as both digital downloads and hardcopy printed patterns. So stay tuned for those updates!
Today I am introducing a new beanie pattern – Verity. Worked in Coast yarn which is a luxurious blend of lambswool and cotton, this simple garter stitch knit turns into a lovely diagonal beanie with a turned up brim. The pattern includes sizes 2 years through to mens.

This family Hat has a centre front tie to create the unusual shape, but if you prefer, you can omit the tie and it’s opening and instead have a super long, slouchy style hat. This versatile pattern includes two versions:
Style A – worked in rounds, with no seam.
Style B – worked in rows, and seamed.

Abbraccio yarn is chunky, beautifully soft and has a lovely drape. Being 100% microfiber, it is perfect for those with sensitive skin, and for those who don’t enjoy the scratchy feeling that some pure wool yarns have. This yarn is available for sale from my Knitting Patterns Online website. You’ll find it here: http://www.knittingpatternsonline.com.au/Abbraccio.html
‘Sunny’ is a very cute, 8ply baby Beanie, which has a 2×2 rib brim then is worked in stocking stitch. Will you chose to finish it off with the Bear ears or Cat ears? The pattern includes both options so maybe make two and use both!
